Conscious Choices for Life
A rare opportunity to work with Lolly in-person in Sussex!
Lolly is a pioneer in her field. Her career spanning 4 decades, has been dedicated to creating and developing the ideal practise for pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. Lolly’s work uniquely blends the powerful combination of the physical and intellectual aspects of childbirth education, hypnobirthing, specialised yoga and the understanding of physiological birth.
She began studying yoga in 1969 and with the birth of her daughter in the 70’s, she was drawn into the world of birth.
As a doula at hundreds of births, and a certified hypno-birther, she formulated the term ‘hypno-breathing’, an essential practice which she passes on in her teaching.
This two-day workshop brings together Lolly's 40+ years of experience and passion as an educator and activist for positive birthing experiences. As founder member of the Active Birth Movement and Yogabirth, Lolly's breadth and depth of experience is rare and unique!

Anyone looking to expand their physiological and experiential knowledge to enhance their capacity to work with prenatal people.
Lolly has a gift for communicating this knowledge both practically and theoretically. Exploring the power of specialised Yoga, breathing practices, and the unique physiology of pregnancy and childbirth, you will learn how to teach Yoga perfectly designed for pregnant women on every level.
What will you explore?
How to lead pregnant women into a deeper level of consciousness by reducing adrenaline levels, encouraging the oxytocin/endorphin release to eradicate fear and create trust, and how to enable women to tap into a state most conducive to a healthy and relaxed pregnancy, while preparing them for labor and birth.
Lolly takes both a physical and intellectual approach to her teaching so that you can introduce childbirth education into your classes, combining postures with repetitive, subtle suggestions to tune into their own instinctive movement.
During this exceptional immersion, you will learn how the pelvis adapts to pregnancy, the dynamic anatomy of the pelvis and pelvic floor, and how to work with and manage pelvic girdle pain while improving strength and balance in this area. You will also learn how to identify and address many of the physical complaints many women experience in pregnancy.
