Florence House
A Nurturing and Expansive Retreat
in Sussex

September 5 - 7th 2025

This beautiful venue offers expansive skies, wide horizons, elegant accommodation and nourishing food.  A very gentle retreat experience where you can drop into a peaceful haven and replenish yourself in like-minded company.

Florence House is nestled in beautiful gardens with stunning coastal views and is just a short walk from the seashore and iconic White Cliffs.  We're gathering at the full moon so this will be a beautiful opportunity to relax, and contemplate the end of this year's growth cycle, and let go of anything that's completed for you.

 

The retreat is suitable for anyone of any level.  The Yoga is a gentle and experiential.  Expect plenty of movement, pauses, contemplation and discussion, with hands-on guidance if you wish.  And you are welcome to bring any burning questions too!

Schedule

Included in your Retreat...

Full-board from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch.  The food is delicious, home-cooked,   vegetarian and seasonal.  We are dairy free for this weekend.  All the dry goods are organic and, where possible, produce from their own organic garden is used.  If you have any other special dietary needs, these can be catered at a small extra cost. 

 

Unlimited herbal teas, coffee and fruits are provided throughout the day.

Friday

  • Arrival 16.00 onwards and time to settle in

  • 17.00  Welcome circle and gentle grounding Yoga with Dot

  • 19.00  Dinner

  • 20.45 – 21.30  Evening activity TBC (e.g. Chanting, Fire Ceremony, Nidra)

Saturday 

  • 7.00 - 7.45 Meditation space in the Yurt

  • 8.00 Breakfast

  • 10 – 12.30 Yoga practice with Dot

  • 13.00  - 14.00  Lunch

 

Free time.  Explore the grounds or the beach, walk the clifftops, read, reflect, swim or have a treatment from the onsite therapist.

  • 17.30 - 18:30  Afternoon Yoga with Dot

  • 19.00 - 20.00  Dinner

  • 20.30 - 22.00  Evening activity TBC (e.g. 5 Rhythms, Heart-opening Kirtan)

Sunday 

  • 7.00 - 7.45 Meditation space in the Yurt

  • 8.00  Breakfast

  • 9.30 – 12.00 Yoga with Dot

  • 13.00  Lunch

 

Time for you 

 

  • 15.00 Closing Yoga, circle and reflection time

  • Departure by 5pm
